Hi..My name is Faiza Ali, one of the filmmakers of "The Many Faces of Islam in The United States of America". My background is as a professional photographer that has also done graphic design and am moving into film and multimedia. I've done 3 music videos, this documentary and look forward to doing a commercial for my reel and soon adding this all to my repertoire of creative services. I was raised in a Muslim family. My co-producer and I met in a video editing class and she soon became my little sister. For the last three years i've been educating myself in multimedia. I'm in a Multimedia Academy at my high school and also taking college classes to add more abilities to my education in film and multimedia. I love everything about it and i am addicted to it and i want to do this as my career for the rest of my life. Ever since I found my love in filmmaking and multimedia I have been out and about making and exploring all different aspects of documentaries, short films, music videos, and multimedia... Having lived 3 years in Istanbul, Turkey and experiencing the Muslim culture has allowed me to share my experiences and understanding.
