Bio:
SARAH ZAMAN Director, Producer, and Editor Born and brought up in Pakistan, Sarah came to the United States in Fall 2002 to pursue an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at Eastern Illinois University. While earning her B.A. in Mass Communications, she worked as a news producer, reporter, cameraperson, writer and assignment editor for three years at WEIU-TV (the PBS affiliate) in Charleston, Illinois. Sarah graduated from the University of Florida�s Documentary Institute in 2007. Currently, she is a Producer for Voice of America�s Urdu division. BISMILLAH is her first feature-length documentary. *** JOLENE PINDER Director, Producer, and Editor Jolene Pinder graduated from the University of Florida's Documentary Institute in 2007. Currently, she is an Associate Producer at Arts Engine, Inc./Big Mouth Films. Most recently, she was the DVD Producer for the film Arctic Son which made its national broadcast premiere on the PBS seriers P.O.V. Her short film �Beyond Munchkinland� won the West Palm Beach International Film Festival�s award for student documentary in 2006. Jolene has a background in marketing, sponsorship and graphic design in a variety of non-profit settings�consumer rights, education reform, and public broadcasting. Before pursuing documentary production, she worked in marketing and sponsorship at WGBH. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Chicago. BISMILLAH is her first feature-length documentary.
