Jehan S. Harney is an Egyptian-American TV journalist with passion for making cross-cultural documentary and feature films. Her media work, including ABC and NBC news network production, teaching, writing, broadcasting and filming, spans America, Europe and the Middle East. Her work earned the prestigious Writers Guild of America-East's John Merriman Award in New York and the Christopher's national Making a Difference Award for her inspirational Jimmy documentary. Harney earned her M.A. in International Journalism & Public Affairs from American University in Washington, DC. She was born in Kuwait.
