Naz Mohammed

Bio:
Naz Mohammed is a director, writer, producer and actor who immigrated to America in 1996 from Hyderabad, India. He previously acted in a few Hindi movies before immigrating to America. The dream never left him and he started to act again. Deeply disturbed by an unjust war (though popular at the time) he wrote a screenplay titled “9 seconds.” Inspired by a true event, it is a story of Steve, an American soldier stationed in the Middle East who “overkills” an innocent man named Bassam and is exonerated of all charges. Celebrating his freedom back home, the soldier is forced to confront his own demons while haunted by a mysterious man. Naz directed, produced and acted in this 30 minute thriller. Naz is currently in pre-production on his next project, an intense feature film titled “Jihad vs. Jihad.” This is a story about a young man, lured into terrorism and desperate to find a way out.
