Bio:
Sharbari was born in Bangladesh but left when she was 3 weeks old. Her short fiction has been published in several literary journals and she is the author of the play Raisins Not Virgins. She has turned Raisins Not Virgins into a screenplay which she hopes to direct in 2008. She is married, with a child and depressed about the upcoming presidential elections but hopes that the abysmal political state in this country will not deter you from voting...for her films that is (as well as for president). Incidentally, Danny Glover is the best actor in the history of film. (THis was a mere non sequitur that she felt the need to share. It in no way has anything to do with the fact that he is a judge. I also want to say to Mr. Jabbar: Michael Jordan, feh! Larry Bird, who? Magic Johnson, never heard of him!) Okay that's all.) Thank you.
