Film Description

This is funny/immature look on a young girls view of a traditional arranged marriage. It's something most teens growing up here go through. I state that it IS tradition. And unfortunately, for a good number of Muslims, tradition still holds a strong presence [rather then Islam], especially for South Asians. This holds true for non-Muslim South Asians as well. The film talks about culture, not Islam, something everyone deals with. It is suppose to show how or bring to attention that in some cases, culture is sometimes deemed more appropriate then what Islam says. Hopefully, that will help bring awareness and change.
