Film Description

Saudi Arabian born Manal Alghamdi received her second liver transplant at Children's Hospital in 2000 after being turned down by several other hospitals throughout the United States. On 9/11 she was in recovery at CHLA and her visitng Muslim parents, too frightened to leave their apartment, did not visit her for several weeks.
