Film Description

"Tahani" is a short documentary film about a young Palestinian-American spoken word artist and her experience with the non-profit, Urban Word NYC, which gives New York City teens free workshops and performance opportunities. "Tahani" illustrates one Muslim American youth's fight against stereotyping and injustice - using the power of her voice.
