Film Description

Islam is currently the second largest religion in the World and the fastest growing religion, especially in the west. In the wake of 9/11, many people began to question what Islam was truly about. It was a religion that before wasn't even recognized by some and after it became a media favorite. Unfortunately, Islam was not presented correctly in the media and many people started to hold misconception and prejudices to Islam and Muslims. This documentary attempts to do what the media in general failed for many years—give an accurate and informative picture of what Islam is truly about through the eyes of American Muslims. It directly addresses some of strong misconceptions or ill-informed topics among some Americans. This documentary was made for a show run by students called Temple Street .
