Racial Profiling
Racial profiling may have fallen off the radar screen for the majority of Americans, but for those affected, it remains a serious problem.

In this episode, you will meet Felix Morka and Laila Maher, a Nigerian and Egyptial-American who were pulled over by police for no apparent reason and physically assaulted. They were part of a successful lawsuit that resulted in procedures to prevent this type of profiling, which happens on highways all over the country. You will also meet Dr. Elie Khoury, an obstetrician who has delivered more than 10,000 babies in the 40+ years he's lived in the United States. Dr. Khoury and his wife complain of being constantly humiliated at airports because of their ethnicity and are now afraid to travel. Plus, you’ll hear M-1 from dead prez tell how his rap group, constantly hassled by police, was arrested with no charges filed.

Find out more about racial profiling -– an illegal practice that destroys families, careers and the peace of mind that Americans take for granted.
