What happens when the country you to which you now pledge allegiance wages war on the country of your birth? Link TV presents a call-in program with three Afghan-Americans - an historian, a journalist, and an Islamic scholar - who discuss their views on the U.S. war on the Taliban and post-9/11 attitudes towards Muslims living in the United States. The program will also feature historical footage about previous wars in Afghanistan, and a report from Fremont, CA, which has the largest concentration of Afghans living in this country.
This program originally aired in the lead-up to the 2001 U.S. military action in Afghanistan.
