This first installment of the Arab Labor Marathon includes Episodes 1, 2 and 3. In Episode 1, "The Car", Amjad is stopped regularly on the road for a security check by the police and does not understand why. His Jewish-Israeli friend Meir tells him that the Subaru he drives is considered an “Arab car.” Amjad decides to trade in his Subaru for a Rover, but ends up getting into more trouble than he bargained for.
In Episode 2, "The Sheep", Amjad’s editor asks him for a colorful, sexy piece. Amjad deliberates until he hears from his father about a very special sheep who understands what soldiers say. Amjad fabricates an interview with the sheep, which becomes a hot item in the local and international media.
In Episode 3, "Kindergarten", Amjad decides it is time for his parents to stop babysitting his daughter every day and for her to go to kindergarten. At first, he tries an Islamic kindergarten with a good reputation in the village. The little girl becomes religious, and Amjad decides to look for a strictly kosher Jewish kindergarten for her.
