Shahar, an unemployed filmmaker with no prospects, finds a promising project when his father, Sleiman, suggests that they make a film about the Jewish Brigade, in which he served during World War II. Shahar's interest is piqued even more when he discovers that his father may have left some "souvenirs" in Europe - children he fathered with two women in the Netherlands before moving to Israel. This unique documentary weaves the narrative of Sleiman's wartime experiences with the heartwarming depiction of a father and son growing closer, as their travels take one unexpected turn after another.
