A Link TV production that moves beyond the stereotypical image that all Palestinians and all Jews share a singular perspective on the crisis in the Middle East. The Palestinian viewpoints are expressed by Dr. Jess Ghannam, Director of the Coalition of the Right of Return for Palestinians, who wants a non-denominational, democratic, one-state solution; and Abeer Rafidi, Executive Director of the San Francisco Arab Cultural Center, who calls for a two-state solution with an independent Palestinian homeland. Jewish-American guests include Adam Guttried, an activist at the Jewish Voice for Peace, who believes that, considering the victimization of Jews in the past, they cannot sanction the oppression of other groups today; and Michael Jacobs, former President of the Jewish Community Relations Council, who believes the present Israeli government has no choice but to occupy the West Bank. Also participating in the program are WorldLink TV’s Director of Current Affairs David Michaelis and Jamal Dajani, producer of WorldLink’s daily “MOSAIC” program. Michaelis, an Israeli Jew, and Dajani, a Palestinian, were born three miles apart in Jerusalem.
