Fast and beautiful, big and fearless; that's how customers from the United Arab Emirates want their falcons. Because a first-class bird offers a buyer in Arabia more fame and prestige than even the most expensive sports car. The most sought-after falcons come from German breeders; they are intensively trained in the raptor camp of falconer Leo M. near Munich, for example. After the completion of their training, the breeders and trainers travel with their birds to the international falcon fair in Abu Dhabi. There the reward for their labors awaits them: the best falcons go for between 20,000 and 30,000 euros.
