They are legendary, but hardly a human being has ever seen them: the white wolves of Ellesmere Island. But when the famous adventurer Arved Fuchs went on a dog-sleigh expedition through the northernmost island of the Canadian Arctic, a pack of white wolves suddenly appeared and followed the team on their way through the ice and snow and at temperatures as low as minus 35 degrees. The film tells the story of a unique encounter in the eternal ice.
