Diving tourists have discovered a new paradise: the coral reefs in the Red Sea. Four million divers come here every year, leaving their mark. Many bays are covered in a blanket of rubbish, the coral reefs are damaged by large numbers of rowdies and new hotel complexes are destroying the landscape. Local environmentalists have now started fighting back and have joined to become Egypt's largest environmental civil rights movement with the aim of stopping the destruction of this unique underwater world.
