It is not an anniversary to celebrate.  March 19th marks five years since the commencement of hostilities in Iraq.  Officially, the war was a short one - the United States declared the end of hostilities on April 14th, 2003.  But the U.S. and many of its coalition allies still have troops stationed in Iraq.  Military and other casualties are still mounting.  Deadly violence is still a daily occurrence.  Civil administrative structures are still in chaos.  Where there is no peace, there is still war.  This report looks at the current situation in Iraq and its effects on the U.S.A.
