Congo's first free elections in 50 years took place on July 30th, 2006. Three weeks before that date, 800 German troops led an EU force on a mission to ensure peaceful elections in the African state. TV reporter Peter Scheiber accompanied the German troops. He reveals how the soldiers set up a base camp in the capital Kinshasa and the difficulties they faced.
