Untold treasure of natural gas lies under the stormy waters of the Barents Sea, deep in the Arctic Circle, 130 kilometres from the Norwegian coast. Twenty years ago natural gas was discovered 2,300 meters below the surface and now plans have been made to drill. The 6 billion Euro project is called Snow White. Despite the difficult conditions, the rewards are without doubt worth the effort. Experts estimate up to 25% of the world’s undiscovered natural gas resources are located in this region.
