In Burma, officially known as Myanmar, the political opposition has achieved a key goal. Opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi has been released - following years of house arrest. Suu Kyi was elected to parliament in April 2012, but Myanmar is still shunned by the international community. Its economy is in disarray, not least because of international sanctions. The new civilian government has promised reform but western countries are doubtful that this will actually happen. Still, as our report shows, the winds of change ARE blowing in Myanmar
