Fake medication can be fatal but more and more people are taken in by the supposed bargains from dodgy pharmacies. They are not the only cheap fakes available from Asia via the Internet. People can buy brand-name watches, clothes and even spare car parts. Some of the electronic goods are even a fire hazard. Customs can do little to stop the illegal imports, and the pharmaceutical mafia is also using private couriers and postal services to deliver their contraband, earning them billions in profits.
