They come from Somalia, Afghanistan or Sierra Leone. Young refugees who managed to get to Germany on their own. They were children when they decided to flee from war and suffering in their country, they were children when they surrendered themselves to people-smugglers for weeks and months until they finally arrived. They were then put in temporary asylum-seeker accommodation to wait for their assessment. The young refugees have gone through different ordeals, but they all share one dream: they want to be welcome in Germany.
