Showdown in the Arctic ice: once again seal hunters and animal rights activists in Canada are involved in a confrontation and this time a camera crew is there. It’s a story about bloody deals on the one hand and powerful images in protest on the other hand. Denis Loguepée, the leader of the fur dealers on the Magdalen Islands, thinks the annual media outrage is staged. His most acrimonious opponent is Rebecca Aldworth. She organizes photo shoots with seal pups, which brings in the donations against the killings in the snow.
