Irishman Paddy Bush has a love affair with the music of Madagascar and he plays the national instrument, the valiha, as well as anyone there. His great inspiration is the late Rakotosafy who was credited as Madagascar’s premier virtuoso. But on this unique island, where the dead have a yearly picnic with their relatives, no one ever completely dies, and Paddy Bush is going on a journey to meet and commune with his musical mentor.
