In 2008, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Greater Los Angeles Area organized a group of over 100 Southern California Muslims to attend the 39th Annual Pilgrimage to Manzanar, a former internment camp where more than 10,000 innocent Japanese American men, women and children were held during World War II. The documentary highlights the Muslims’ visit to Manzanar, and the friendships that subsequently formed between members of the Japanese American and Muslim American communities.
