An incisive look at the Asian community's reaction to the US Justice Department's indictment of former Los Alamos scientist Wen Ho Lee on charges of espionage. Through a series of interviews with Chinese-Americans in San Francisco, the film presents their view that Dr. Lee was a scapegoat for lax security at the top-secret defense installation, and was targeted because he was of Chinese descent. This film was produced by the Pacific News Service, a multimedia collaboration of writers, scholars, journalists and filmmakers, photographers, dedicated to bringing new ideas, images and conversations to the public.
