One Through Love is a unique, cinematic, multi-lingual film and companion website, which uses the poetry of Jalaluddin Rumi, a 13th century Persian mystic, to inspire and build new connections and understandings between people in the US and the Middle East. One Through Love is truly "a gathering of lovers", since it presents a multi-national, multi-linguistic gathering of Rumi "lovers" -- scholars, musicians, dervishes, and other sufi practitioners from Turkey, Iran, Europe, and the US.
At precisely 12:00 noon PST the one-hour presentation of One Through Love will air on Link TV timed to coincide with the live streaming of the film on the OneThroughLove.org website. Immediately following the screening, producers Parisa Soultani and Stephen Olsson and live sufi guests will answer questions and moderate the incoming communication from viewers in the US, Europe, Turkey and Iran. One Through Love is a convergence of ideas, people, teachers, and technologies, in the hope of building a connection and dialogue that celebrates the spirit and power of love, and transcends some of the mistrust and separation between the Islamic world and the West.
