In 2005, filmmaker Chris Hume created Red State Road Trip, a bizarre journey into the heart of a divided nation. In the aftermath of the presidential elections and the deepening crisis in Iraq, it seemed like a good time for a road trip. So on Inauguration Day 2005, Hume set out in search of America's soul. He interviewed hundreds of regular citizens in the forgotten corners of the country, to find out how they felt about America.
Three years later, America has changed, for the better and for the worse. Link presents Hume's second road trip, a 10,000 mile journey into the heart of America. Watch as Hume travels across the U.S., from Crawford, Texas to Detroit, and to New Orleans by way of Kansas.
