Roll Call, part of Staying Alive MTV’s global HIV/AIDS awareness campaign, salutes young people whose lives have been impacted by, or who have made an impact themselves, in the world of HIV/AIDS.
Featuring hundreds of young people’s names in a special roll of honor, and highlighting snapshots of what daily life is like for them, Roll Call reminds viewers everywhere that although there is hopelessness and devastation when it comes to HIV/AIDS, there also can be much hope and inspiration.
Whether they are HIV positive themselves, have a family member or friend living with HIV, have lost their lives to the illness, or are working hard to break down stigma and discrimination and increase awareness about the disease, these young people are acknowledged for their contribution and involvement in the world of HIV/AIDS.
