Regions: North America

SNAP is a one-hour program jam packed with short films, music videos, and other youth-produced media from around the world. Hosts Kevin and Julienne introduce the films, chat with “webcammers” who are part of the Chat the Planet youth network, and interview young filmmakers and journalists about their craft. Each show also includes a live performance.

Show 5, THEN & NOW, has young filmmakers looking at the passage of time—from the not-so-distant past, to what’s most immediate in their lives. Teenage immigrants to America reflect on the journey they’ve made, the past and present of graffiti is explored, and we get stories from East Africa and the Middle East in the mix.
