To commemorate the three-month anniversary of the March 2011 Japan earthquake that rocked the country and triggered a devastating tsunami, Link TV is airing a special NHK documentary series called Standing Up, Moving Forward. The three-part series highlights the lives of Japan's survivors and their efforts to return to normal life in the wake of catastrophe and extreme loss.
In episode 2 of Standing Up, Moving Forward, the month of March -- Japan's season of graduation ceremonies -- has changed drastically for school children, after the devastating earthquake of March 11. The second episode features these children, their parents and teachers, fighting back and working together to overcome the tragedy and go forward into the future.
