"Knowledge is the Beginning": After traveling through Bangkok, where a transsexual coping with modernity is portrayed, the train travels to the south of Thailand, and a Muslim teacher in a region full of Muslim separatists is the next subject. Crossing the border into Malaysia, people on the train talk about former Prime Minister Mahathir´s words "Knowledge is a Value". The train travels through Malacca and Kuala Lumpur, ending at the Thai border town Hat Yai.
