THE TEAM - KENYA (Season 2)

The Team - Kenya is a 13-episode dramatic television series created in response to the devastating violence in Kenya following the 2007 general elections. It is a metaphor of Kenyan society that dramatizes how the newly recruited members of the co-ed 'Imani' (which means 'faith' in Swahili) soccer club learn to overcome their tribal, ethnic, social, and economic differences. Watch what happens as each of the players, and their coach, struggle to overcome racism and hatred in a tense society. Is coexistence possible?

		The Team - Kenya: Reconciliation (Episode 1) Imani FC players prepare to leave camp for the summer. As each goes to his/her home, it becomes quickly apparent that integration into the family/community won't be easy. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Homecoming (Episode 2) Lulu wants her father to take her to her mothers' grave but Telis makes excuses not to. Then, Ben's former best friend Bajil tries to befriend him again, but Ben can't let go of the past. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Modeling Behavior (Episode 3) Lulu gets upset when she finds her friends reenacting the violent events of the 'trouble.' Ben and Bajil decide to put together a football game as a way of reuniting their community in spite of local cynicism. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Difficult Conversations (Episode 4) Bukenya appoints Telis as the general manager and Beth coach -- a decision that creates tension. Meanwhile, Johari is distressed over her decision to have an abortion but can't bring herself to ask for help. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Leadership and Change (Episode 5) Ben decides to give up football because his parents and community need his help. Johari is proud of her brother and promises to work hard in this season's camp. We also meet new players trying out for a spot on the team. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Relationships and Choices (Episode 6) This time on The Team - Kenya, the choices of the past -- both long ago and recent -- come back to haunt the Imani FC players. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Finding Common Ground (Episode 7) In this episode, Tina organizes a benefit football match in an attempt to heal the relationship between police and community members, which was damaged during the post-election violence. Watch online!

		The Team - Kenya: Identity (Episode 8) A community group arrives on Imani FC's pitch claiming their right to the land. Telis negotiates a 'win-win' settlement over Bukenya's objections. Can they work it out? *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Coming of Age (Episode 9) Ben and Tina make a life choice that will take them away from football. Their decision is in sharp contrast to Kezia's brother, Rodez, who remains caught by an overwhelming desire for revenge. Watch online!

		The Team - Kenya: Tribalism (Episode 10) Telis' mother is in dire need of a blood transfusion. The only match is Johari, but she can't bare to take blood from 'one of them.' Then, Ben's parents are against his decision to run for election. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Letting Go of Grievances (Episode 11) Will Telis' mother lets go of her anger long enough to accept Johari's blood donation? And, Bajil's tribesmen may be arming themselves for fear that an election win for Ben will put them out of power. Watch online!

		The Team - Kenya: Integrity (Episode 12) Ben refuses to conduct his election campaign with anything other than the utmost integrity. Meanwhile, Wash is torn over whether or not to report Mamu to the police. *Watch online!*

		The Team - Kenya: Unity in Diversity (Episode 13) In season 2 finale of Season 2 of The Team - Kenya, Meera and Kezia unite so that the team might win the big game, and Wash makes a decision that may prevent him from ever being with Kezia. *Watch online!*

For Johari, Ben and their family, its pronounced as the tribe that chased them from their home asks them to come back and start afresh.

ABOUT THE TEAM - KENYA

The Team - Kenya is a TV drama that was created in response to the devastating violence in Kenya following the 2007 general elections. The members of the co-ed soccer league Imani FC ("imani" meaning "faith" in Swahili) struggle to overcome their tribal, ethnic, social and economic differences to play as a team, serving as a metaphor for Kenya's current state of affairs and hopes for reconciliation.

The Team was created by Search for Common Ground and Media Focus on Africa Foundation in Kenya.
