Recently, the Green Festival came to Washington, D.C., bringing together 100 speakers, 400 green businesses, and nearly 25,000 people for the world's largest green-living consumer show. A joint project of Global Exchange and CO-OP America, the Green Festival presents options in contemporary green-living and socially responsible shopping as well as presentations by prominent authors, activists, industry leaders, and journalists.
