(December 28, 2007) As the state of New Jersey ends capital punishment, and the U.S. Supreme Court reviews the constitutionality of execution by lethal injection, the issue of the death penalty makes news worldwide. Now the UN has even voted to outlaw the death sentence making many question whether this is the beginning of the end for the death penalty, or only more symbolic statements.
