(Global Pulse: October 9, 2008) While the world's focus may be on the global financial meltdown, the U.S and India have signed a historic deal to trade nuclear energy. But, India has never signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty and has tested weapons in the past. So, why now is it okay to trade energy with India and not with a signatory country like Iran?
