(France/Spain) He may look like a kid, but Christian, the sunglass wearing, ghetto blaster-toting boy in this video is a former child soldier in Liberia's civil war. Filmmaker Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire, known for his film "Carlito's Medellin" in which he followed a young boy around on the violence ridden streets of that city, now follows Christian around the streets of Monrovia. Once again, Manu Chao supplies us with the simplest of songs, yet manages to find the heart of the idea, so that one cannot think of any better way to say it.
