(Finland) Here's a bit of holiday cheer from Finland, where the nights are cold, the music is hot, and the sensibility is always unique. We caught this group live at the 2007 World Music Expo (WOMEX) in Seville and were enchanted with their act. After all, who can resist a band with a bass harmonica that practically obscures the player's head? --and one of the members is even an official Doctor of Harmonica, having graduated with the degree from the prestigious Sibelius Academy. This performance is from Austrian television, and although "Jampparaleele" is an original composition it has a distinctly Balkan flavor.
