(Brazil) While she may not (yet) be a household name in Brazilian music, Paula Lima is on the rise because she has definitely got what it takes; a velvety true voice, a talent for catchy songwriting, a top flight band, and a niche all her own: "SambaChic." In this live performance she tackles "Deixa Isso Pra Lá" a song made famous by Jair Rodrigues, and by which he gained a place in MPB history by fusing rap and samba. And while Lima's rendition is mighty tasty on its own, a sunny drop of joy is added to the performance by a guest shot from Carlinhos de Jesus, the famed dancer and teacher of samba.
