"Yes Man" Andy Bichlbaum tells how he got started on the project in an interview about his film "The Yes Men Fix the World." In 1999 when thousands of activists were heading to Seattle to shut down the World Trade Organization in protest of free market globalisation, "The Yes Men" created an incredibly convincing satirical website mimicking the real WTO website. The success and publicity of this hoax launched their mission to get untold stories into the media by way of satire and attention-grabbing stunts.
