Afghan Candidates Agree to Runoff Election

(Al Jazeera English: October 21, 2009) A runoff election is now scheduled to take place November 7 in Afghanistan following widespread fraud, and both incumbent President Hamid Karzai and rival Dr. Abdullah Abdullah have agreed to participate.
