Obama Expected to Outline Afghan Exit Strategy

(Al Jazeera English: December 1, 2009) Barack Obama is under pressure to include an exit strategy in a new plan for Afghanistan, which includes 30,000 additional soldier in the region. Today is World Aids Day, and Africa has announced new measures to combat the HIV crisis, including safe-sex education. In the UAE, Dubai's debt is reportedly 20 billion dollars higher than previously estimated, but the region's markets are expected to bounce back due to large oil reserves. In Honduras, supporters of the deposed president have been displaying disapproval of the recent vote.
