World Music: Divoky Srdce "Kajuvej"
(Czech Republic) Czech band Divoky Srdce first made waves with its debut CD "V Moci Noci." A break of three years saw the band totally regroup with only lead singer Michal Ambroz remaining. Ambroz is a rock icon in the Czech Republic, whose delivery is reminiscent of Leonard Cohen or Lou Reed. While the band's eclectic tastes center on rock, "Kajuvej" from the CD of the same name is a gentle effort, supported by intriguing, quasi-abstract animation.
