(New Caledonia) Originally from Maré - an island from the Loyalty Province of New Caledonia, Ok! Ryos are certainly one of the most talented and the most prolific bands in the country. Their songs, mainly sung in "Nengone" language, have been hits among New Caledonian audiences, as well as those from Vanuatu and Fiji. They are leading proponents of Kaneka music, which blends local Kanak music with reggae, world and various pop influences.
