(France/Tunisia) Amina is a Tunisian chanteuse and actress who started her career in the World Music mecca of Paris in the 1980s. She was in the center of a vibrant scene that was discovering the riches of the African and Arabic music that had been brought to the city by its immigrant population. She was the first North African to represent France in the Eurovision contest in 1991 and tied for 1st place with "Le Dernier Qui a Parlé" arranged by Wasis Diop.
