(Sweden) Focused around the pristine voice of Emma Härdelin, the musicians of Garmarna will tackle anything, from folk music, to early music to rock. "Gamen" or vulture is a traditional song about a king who unwisely marries off his daughter to a man who promptly dispatches her to prison, claiming that she is not a virgin. She is saved when a vulture carries her message of distress back to her father. The arrangement of the song mirrors the video; Härdelin sings with stony detachment while the band thrashes out the chords.
