(Sweden) The exquisite vocals of Ranarim belong to Ulrika Bodén and Sofia Sandén formerly of the group Rosenberg 7. "High Mountains Low Valleys" (Höga Berg och Djupa Dalar) is a call to dance: "Come my beloved, let us dance till dawn, all night long until the light of day. Come let us dance ourselves to sleep." The melody is magnificent in and of itself, but the group wrings every possible harmonic nuance out of it (it just gets better and better!) in this performance from the Nordic Roots Festival.
