Blair Defends British Role in Iraq War

(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: January 29, 2010) At an inquiry into the 2003 Iraq War, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair stated that he has "not a regret" about taking Britain to war in Iraq. Anti-war demonstrators rallied outside the inquiry, calling for Blair to be tried as a war criminal. Nigeria's seriously ill president is not required to hand over control of the country during his medical treatment, the Nigerian high court has ruled. A new audiotape from Osama bin Laden puts the blame for climate change on industrialized nations, and particularly on the U.S. for its failure to sign the Kyoto Protocol.
