American Soldiers Killed in Pakistan
(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: February 3, 2010) Three American soldiers were killed in a bomb attack in Pakistan, thought to be the first American fatalities in that country's tribal region. An appeals court has asked the International Criminal Court to reconsider charging Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir with genocide for his role in the Darfur conflict. In the latest in a series of attacks targeting Shiite pilgrims, at least 23 people were killed in a bombing in the Iraqi city of Karbala. Also, Dutch right-wing politician Geert Wilders will face charges in a lower court of inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims.
